I’ve put  Confidence Quotes 3  together because the first set of confidence quotes has been extremely popular on ‘How To Build Confidence’. It seems that subscribers, readers, and passers-by equally welcome little, digestible bits of confidence and success quotes at intervals. Of course, my aim is to satisfy my audience, so  I shall stand and deliver! 🙂

And you know what? I can promise you that these are unique. You will have never seen these confidence quotes (or success quotes) on any other blog, or anywhere else on the web but here on How to Build Confidence. You can find the other pages here:

how long will you allow your confidence flow to live under the shadows

Confidence is not built by being able to do everything. Confidence is built by being able to do some things well.

Waiting to receive a blessing may take a while. You’ll convert value easier and much quicker if you work with the blessings you already have. Look at them, claim them, and use them to enrich your life and the lives of those around you.

Don’t forget that self-esteem is learning not getting. Savour your climb so you can help others step up with confidence too.

If you could  go back into your past and get rid of wrongdoings done to you: people who teased you, hated you, did you wrong, you would come out at this end of your life a different person. Who knows what that person would be like.

Decide that your future depends on you. Why? If you don’t do this you will allow the people in your past who negatively affected your confidence  to win. They thought you couldn’t do it then. If you can’t do it now, they were right. You’ve made them right.

The path you’ve tried and tested before is obviously the wrong way. Use another path – another alternative.  You’re getting nowhere because you’ve obviously been walking in the wrong direction. Change your path to change your life

Decide today to do something you feel you can’t do because you think you haven’t got what it takes. Stepping out of your comfort zone is the very thing you need to build your confidence.

When feeling less than positive about your lack of body confidence, treat your best bits. If it’s your hair, go to the salon and get a fabulous shampoo and condition. If your best bits are your legs, go for a professional wax, moisturise and feet massage.

We cannot possibly achieve resolutions without first throwing away the very stumbling blocks that stand in our way of attaining them.

Give others a chance to shine. Their glimmer doesn’t make your gold less bright.

Look that hardship in the face, and stare it down. No on will leave that rut  until one of you gets taken down. It’s either you or that obstacle. Who will it be?

Life’s downs are the very things that make the ‘ups’ so fantastic.

You had no control over what happened to you in your past, but the reins are all in your hands now. Where are you taking your life? Where are you going to go?

Most people have things they’d rather forget. Bearing them in your mind as secrets you hold close to you is NOT the way to get rid of a memory.

Every day, do one thing for your spouse that you think is too much trouble.

Practise probably won’t make you perfect, but it will get you close enough to succeed (and you’ll learn something new in the interim).

Just stop and attempt to do something you think is less than what you want. Take time off to take that journey which will take you only half way to where you want to be. (At least you’re half-way there, right?) Without a doubt you will find that jewel you seek, hidden within the rough bits.

Once you get rid of bad thoughts about the people in your past (or present) who’ve caused you to feel less confident about yourself, you can start to achieve your dreams whether they’re building confidenceboosting your body confidence or just restoring faith in yourself.

Your past may have been awful, but it showed you what you didn’t want to become.

If you look at your life as a half empty glass, know that there are many people in the world at this moment who don’t have glasses.

Try another way of getting to where you want to be. There are more ways than one and you’ve certainly used up your present way of doing things.

In order to work with what you have, you have to first identify and appreciate what you have.

I think so too, Farouk. I don’t publish quotes as a whole, but I think there’s a place for them now and then. I liked the idea of picking out parts of previous articles and putting them all in one place.

Confidence is not built by being able to do everything. Confidence is built by being able to do some things well”… This will be my favorite quote for the week! I love it. I was actually talking to my husband just last week about how we all tend to put way too much stuff on our calendar! The key to feeling accomplished is not to have done so many actions in a week but to have done them well… Thank you for the reminder!

    • Anne says:

We do that too. But at least it’s mostly about the kids – not us. Our calendar is usually packed with stuff during the school term.

The feeling of accomplishment can be had from doing just one thing well. Thanks for stopping by.

Wow, thanks for taking the time to do this Anne! You know how I love quotations, and having published a book of inspirational quotes I know all too well how time consuming it can be to find just the right life lessons.

I had you in mind when I put this together, Marty. I went through my old posts and picked out the things I’ve said before, which I wanted to call to mind here. I sort of knew what I was looking for because I’d come up with them before.

      Hope you’re doing well. 🙂

My favorite quote is: “Never regret anything because at some point, it was exactly what you wanted.”

This quote is very encouraging to let someone stop worrying about the past, especially when they can’t change it like you mentioned.

All of these are awesome. My favorite quote that my mom always told me is: “Don’t frown, you never know who is falling in love with your smile.”
